Hi Nikhel,

It is in the pdns directory of your source tarball:

pdns/pdns.conf-dist

Kind regards,

Coen Rosdorff

Subject: [Pdns-dev] pdns.conf is missing from source

Hi All,

I installed the PDNS source from here http://downloads.powerdns.com/releases/pdns-3.1.tar.gz
on Ubuntu 10.10.

The ./configure and make install worked perfectly. But I am unable to locate the pdns.conf in my source and in the installation directory.

I tried running the pdns server but since no backend is configured it did not run.

Please guide me what should I do in this case.

Thanks,
Nikhil.
