I will check if we can use on a linux VM, as we are working on completely
windows platform only.

Samir,

Periodically, once every few years, someone gets PowerDNS to compile on
Windows. It is not rocket science, but it does require quite some work by a
skilled programmer.

But out of the box, it does not work.

Perhaps a linux VM?
