I did, but now ldap doesn't build for me:
./bootstrap
./configure --enable-recursor --with-modules="ldap"
make
...
g++: ../modules/ldapbackend/ldapbackend.o: No such file or directory
g++: ../modules/ldapbackend/powerldap.o: No such file or directory

$ autoconf --version
autoconf (GNU Autoconf) 2.61
$ automake --version
automake (GNU automake) 1.9.6

$ libtool --version

Any ideas?

I didn't yet commit, so what I have is svn-head + all your patches.
