Hi everybody,
We are pleased to announce the release of the second alpha version of
dnsdist, 1.0.0-alpha2.
In addition to several bug-fixes, a lot of new exciting features have
been added since alpha1, some of them breaking the Lua API:
- Lua functions now receive a DNSQuestion object instead of several
parameters. This adds a greater compatibility with PowerDNS and allows
adding more information later without breaking the API
- We added a source option to newServer() to be able to specify the
local address or interface used to contact a downstream server
- grepq() can now be used, along with topSlow(), to search for slow
queries,
- Finally new Lua features have been added: addDomainCNAMESpoof(),
AllowAction() by @bearggg, exceedQRate(), MacAddrAction(), makeRule(),
NetmaskGroup, NotRule(), OrRule, QClassRule(), RCodeAction(),
SpoofCNAMEAction(), SuffixMatchNodeRule(), TCPRule() and topSlow()
