[Pdns-users] Recursor not working

Hello all, What I'm trying to do is connect to a server over OpenVPN
which runs pdns and pdns-recursor, have pdns answer local questions, and
have it forward non local questions to the recursor, so that I can tunnel
my internet traffic through the VPN. However, for this to work the recursor
needs to allow recursion from 10.* (Connected VPN clients). This is where
it gets weird. It seems like pdns is working, but not communicating with
the recursor. Example: Upon connection, I am able to access the server
through a web browser by navigating directly to 10.8.0.1 (The servers
OpenVPN IP), as well as accessing any other services on that server. I am
unable, for example, to navigate to Google, as the recursor times out.
Using dig, I get "WARNING: Recursion desired but not available".

Any
ideas?
