I have been seeing a lot of alerts in my monitoring system (Netcool) for nscd restarts on my dns server running PDNS. I am not sure if this is related but can anyone give me a good reason and or a service that runs that could restart nscd? What would be some of the reasons for nscd to restart? Any info is greatly appreciated. -- -- Dave
