A tree layout is not different from a simple layout in this case.

I don't use srv records (code and final testing was provided by Matt Dainty), 
but they must be (at least I think so after reading 
http://www.zytrax.com/books/dns/ch8/srv.html) like "<priority> <weight> 
<port> <target>", e.g.

cn:
_ldap._tcp

associatedDomain:
_ldap._tcp.mydomain.dom

SRVRecord:
10 0 389 ldap.mydomain.dom
