[Pdns-users] FOR DEVELOPER OF THE PDNS !!!!! BUG or NOT You need DECIDE by Self !

Hi there,

i was met some trouble when i has doing transfer my domain from OLD ns to NEW ns server.
BUG or NOT You need DECIDE by Self !

I THINK U NEED LOOK TO THIS BUG AND DESIDE IT. BECAUSE OF IF WE NEEDED EDIT UOR PDNS.CONF
WHEN WE WILL MUST TRANSFER DOMAINS - THIS IS NOT LUCK IDEA!




Linux Debian , PDNS 2.9.15-2

I was had domain WM.COM.RU - it was registered to IP 195.182.128.14
the recods in REGISTRAND was these :

ns.host-lux.ru
ns.wm.com.ru 195.182.128.14



then i do new records :

ns1.host-lux.ru
ns2.host-lux.ru



and in this situation i has message from registrant :

Dear Madam/Sir,
We are sorry to notify that the check of 'WM.COM.RU'
DNS-servers has failed with the following error(s):

1. Nameserver ns2.host-lux.ru.(213.159.102.122, 213.159.102.122) is not authoritative for zone WM.COM.RU.



Please try to correct the problems before the next check
retry in 3 hours.

when i start decide this trouble - we find that PDNS was ANSWER By TCP adn UDP
DIFFERENT!!!! LIKE ON MY IP 213.159.102.122 WAS TWO DIFFERENT SERVERS !!!

and i want said about options into my pdns.conf :
there was follow options defined these trouble ( i find it later )

......
lazy-recursion=yes
recursor=213.159.98.2
......


the recursor 213.159.98.2 is DNS of my ISP

the first answer of PDNS was done when the options in pdns.conf above was COMMENTS
The answer was OK by all methods
- By TCP
- By UDP
- With and With out RECURSION = +[no]recurse
