[Pdns-users] General help please ... A -vs- CNAME records.

Thanks for the help. However, after I changed the record for
polluxdesign.com to point to the primary IP of the web service, and left the
other
as is, I still cant access www.polluxdesign.com. DNS error still. However,
seams like the propagation time takes a lot much time then normal.

Query on CAM Internet, ISP I work for :
[root at zesolution html]# host www.polluxdesign.com hydro.cam.org
Using domain server:
Name: hydro.cam.org
Address: 198.73.180.101#53

Query on Velocet's DNS, my ISP @ home
[root at zesolution html]# host www.polluxdesign.com 216.138.223.134
Using domain server:
Name: 216.138.223.134

Aliases:

www.polluxdesign.com is an alias for web.zesolution.com.
web.zesolution.com has address 65.39.170.60
[root at zesolution html]# host 216.138.223.134


Query on ns.dyndns.org :
[root at zesolution html]# host www.polluxdesign.com ns.dyndns.com
Using domain server:
Name: ns.dyndns.com
Address: 216.93.164.198#53
Aliases:


So there we have it, only the DNS of my ISP sends to correct response. What
gives ? Its been more than 4 hours since I made the change on my side.

Any clue ?
