<div dir="ltr">Hi,<div><br></div><div>I Just installed dnsdist using apt on a fresh ubuntu installation and when I try to use the command dnsdist i'm receiving the following </div><div><br></div><div><div>root@dnsdist:~# dnsdist</div><div>Unable to read configuration from '/etc/dnsdist/dnsdist.conf'</div><div>Fatal error: binding socket to <a href="http://127.0.0.1:53">127.0.0.1:53</a>: Address already in use</div></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>When I check with netstat port 53 is being utilised by dnsdist</div><div><br></div><div><div>root@dnsdist:~# netstat -anp|grep dnsdist</div><div>tcp        0      0 <a href="http://127.0.0.1:53">127.0.0.1:53</a>            0.0.0.0:*               LISTEN      1234/dnsdist</div><div>udp        0      0 <a href="http://127.0.0.1:53">127.0.0.1:53</a>            0.0.0.0:*                           1234/dnsdist</div><div><br></div></div><div>Also i tried using the command dnsdist --client command and </div><div><br></div><div><div>root@dnsdist:~# dnsdist --client</div><div>Unable to read configuration from '/etc/dnsdist/dnsdist.conf'</div><div>Connecting to <a href="http://127.0.0.1:5199">127.0.0.1:5199</a></div><div>Fatal error: connecting socket to <a href="http://127.0.0.1:5199">127.0.0.1:5199</a>: Connection refused</div></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>Any Suggestions?</div><div><br>Regards,</div><div>Et</div><div><br></div><div>
